Who Am I?
My wife, Holland, and I grew up together in Rochester, Minnesota. Back then, we loved to sit around discussing books and poetry, and pass notes written in morse code in our high school hallways. We'd go on walks at night and talk about getting married someday, and in the summer of 2024 we finally made those dreams come true.
I surprised myself when I took interest in programming. After serving a two year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Dallas, Texas, I went back to college and revised my previous plans of teaching history as a career. For nearly a year I was stumped about what I should study, but then I learned about computer programming: I was hooked. I fell in love with coding and I've been working towards a degree in Information Systems ever since.
In my free time I love to read books. I'm an avid reader and will devour anything that puts ink to paper (although I especially love history and fantasy). Language learning is also a fun hobby of mine, (Harry Potter makes an excellent Spanish teacher). When I'm not reading or coding, I love to go rock climbing with Holland or skateboard in empty parking lots.
